Moonbin & Sanha was the first sub-unit of the South Korean boy group ASTRO. They debuted on September 14, 2020 with their mini-album In-Out and its title track "Bad Idea".
On April 19, 2023, Moonbin was found dead at his residence in the Gangnam district of Seoul, and as a result, the duo ceased to exist.
History[]
2020: Debut with In-Out[]
On August 14, 2020, Fantagio announced that ASTRO would be debuting their first sub-unit with the members Moonbin and Sanha, with the release of their debut mini album set for mid-September.
The first teaser video was then posted on August 21 revealing that they would make their debut on September 14. The sub-unit then debuted on September 14, 2020 with the release of their first mini album In-Out.
On episode 239 of The Show, which was aired on September 22, Moonbin & Sanha received their first music show win with the song "Bad Idea".
2022: Refuge[]
On February 4, 2022, it was announced that Moonbin & Sanha will make a comeback with their second mini album in March, ahead of which they dropped the pre-release single "Ghost Town" on February 11.
On February 16, 2022, it was announced that the second mini album is called Refuge and that it will be released on March 15 with its title track "Who".
2023: Incense, Moonbin's death[]
On December 1, 2022, it was announced that the duo would make a comeback with their third mini album, Incense on January 4.
On April 19, 2023, Moonbin was found dead at his residence in the Gangnam district of Seoul, and as a result, the duo ceased to exist.
